Cookie Policy

Last updated: 18 April 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Valio Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on the Valio website and platform. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember you between visits, keep you signed in, and collect aggregate usage information.

Cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary — session cookies for Supabase authentication, CSRF tokens, and load-balancer routing. Without these, the Service cannot function. No consent required under PECR.
  • Preferences — remembering your dark/light mode choice and recent pages. Strictly functional.
  • Analytics — PostHog and Google Analytics (if enabled) help us understand aggregate usage. These are only set with your consent via the cookie banner.
  • Billing — Stripe sets cookies on payment pages for fraud prevention and checkout continuity. Set when you begin a subscription.

Managing cookies

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies via the cookie banner that appears on your first visit, and change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings — note that this may break the Service (authentication, preferences).

Do-not-track

We honour browser-level Do Not Track signals where technically feasible and treat them as a rejection of non-essential cookies.

Changes

We will update this Policy when our cookie practices change. See the “Last updated” date above for the current revision.
